Krishnan Nair and Sons, state’s well known jewellery shop was started in 1911 by late M R Krishnan Nair. This firm has catered thousands for the last 90 years and it is being run by the third generation now. The firm, which is in Trivandrum, was started by late K Krishnan Nair and now run by Suresh K Nair and Shaji K Nair who are the managing partners of this firm. Krishnannairandsons have branches at Nagercoil and Marthandam.

The Trivandrum outlet sells jewellery with a purity of 91.6 for all ornaments and are sold without making changes so this makes the outlet at Trivandrum the only place to buy the best gold at the cheapest rate. Exclusive ornaments from both within the state and from other states are available and also imported ornaments from Gulf and Singapore (Krishnannairandsons undertake orders from customers as per their choice of designs in any weight). The Trivandrum Outlet is the first one to install the Gold Testing Machine from 1998 onwards. The Outlet at Padmavilasom Road,Trivandrum is the official jewelers of Padmanabha Swamy Temple.Krishnan Nair and Sons have no other branches in Kerala. The sister concern named Krishnan Nair and Sons Watch Dealers, is also at Padmavilasom Road. having sales and service of RADO Watches.
